LotTrace is a Shopify app for lot, batch, expiry, and recall traceability. We process information required to provide that service to the installing Shopify merchant.

Information we process

We store the shop domain, Shopify product and variant identifiers, inventory location identifiers, lot and movement records, allocation records, recall drills, and an audit history. The MVP is designed not to store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or addresses.

How we use it

We use this information to provide the app, maintain tenant isolation, operate support, prevent duplicate webhook processing, and comply with Shopify’s platform requirements. We do not sell merchant data or use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Merchant data is retained while the app is installed and for a limited period needed for operational recovery and compliance. We honour Shopify data deletion requests and can remove a shop’s data on request.
